Inspire for Change-CBO is a legally registered refugee-led community-based organization in Kenya with registration number DSD/23/124/02/156207, established in June 2023 in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Turkana West Sub-County, Kenya. The organization was formed by refugee youth in response to limited access to tertiary education opportunities, limited access to inclusive and sustainable livelihood opportunities, unsustainable environmental practices and low digital literacy levels.

Inspire for Change-CBO aims to address these gaps by empowering refugee youth between the ages of 18-35 and the host community through education, livelihood, environmental conservation and digital literacy. We accomplish these through training, mentorship, partnerships & synergies, and capacity-building.

At ICI, we believe in collaboration as the key to creating lasting change. We actively partner with
local communities, Government Agencies, Donors, NGOs, private sectors, media, development organizations, and academia to build a strong network of support that amplifies the impact of our community-driven initiatives.
