Badawi Abdalla kuku
Badawi Abdalla kuku is the co-founder and the Executive Director of Inspire for Change Initiative (IFC) a community-based organization based in Kakuma. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics and Finance from Kenyatta University and CPAK. He has one year experience working as Administrator and Liaison officer with SIR and 3 years working experience with Windle International as a teacher. His current role include providing strategic leadership and management to the organization, building partnership with other organizations, and advocating for funds. His motivation is “to create impact, inspire, and make difference to the displaced persons”.
Mohamed Anur
Mohamed Anur is the Co-founder and deputy director of Inspire for Change Initiative (IFC). He hold bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Administration from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. He has vast working experience which include hygiene promoter with NRC for one year, 2 years as a teacher with LWF, Community mobilizer for 2 years with Windle International Kenya, Enumerator with UNHCR, and Facilitator with Faulu Production. His roles include developing strategic plan, assisting in providing strategic leadership and management to the organization, and proposal writing. He believes in “refugees having the ability to change their lives, only if they are empowered with knowledge and skills”
Nathaniel Ohucholi Peter
Nathaniel Ohucholi Peter is a co-founder and program manager of Inspire for Change Initiative (IFC). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Community Development from Kenyatta University. He has more than four years of experience working with humanitarian agencies in Kakuma Refugee Camp, including Windle International Kenya (WIK), and the Lutheran World Federation (LWF). His roles are overseeing the planning and designing of the programs, the implementation of the programs, and monitoring the project activities of the organization. Nathaniel believes that “every refugee deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential
Katerina Paul Karu
Katerina Paul Karu is a Human Resource Officer at Inspire for Change Initiative (IFC). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Gender and Development Studies from Kenyatta University. Her work experience includes working with LWF as a Community Mobilizer for the Kadana Refugee Led Network Chapter in Kakuma and Assistant Researcher with Terres Des Hommes (TDH). Her role in the organization is to implement strategies that boost employee engagement, measure and improve performance, and contribute to employee retention. She is passionate about “advocating for women’s rights in accessing livelihood opportunities to improve their lives.”
Musin Khamis Musa
Musin Khamis Musa is the head of finance and administration of Inspire for Change Initiative (IFC). He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from Kenyatta University. His work experience is; two years teaching with Windle International Kenya, and one year as a field coordinator with Okapi Green LTD. He has an ICDL for basic digital literacy and ICDL for professionals’ skills. his roles are developing fundraising strategies for the organization, and ensuring accounting and finance operations in accordance with ICF standards and donors’ requirements.
