Entrepreneurship & Financial Literacy
We educate refugee youth and women in Kakuma with entrepreneurial skills and financial management knowledge to foster economic independence. Participants learn to:
- Identify business opportunities
- Create business plans
- Manage enterprises effectively
Our financial literacy training covers budgeting, saving, and credit management, enabling informed financial decisions for sustainable personal and business growth.
Leadership, Mentorship, and Guidance
We believe change starts with leadership. This program equips refugee youth with the tools to lead and drive transformation. It features:
- Leadership training to develop and refine skills
- Mentorship by experienced leaders who overcame barriers and are creating global impacts
Our mentors inspire hope, offer guidance, and encourage youths to rise above challenges and rebuild their lives.
Computer Literacy
Access to computer skills is vital for education and employment. However, refugees in Kakuma face barriers to acquiring these skills.
This program:
- Teach foundational computer skills needed for job readiness
- Bridges the digital divide, ensuring participants can access education and employment opportunities
This program empowers refugee youth with essential digital skills, enhancing employability, advancing education, and promoting community development for long-term growth and self-reliance in a technology-driven world.
Data Analytics
We prepare refugee youth for careers in data analytics and AI, addressing the global demand for data professionals. Participants learn to:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data
- Make data-driven decisions in professional and community settings
With 11.5 million new data-driven jobs projected by 2026, this program creates pathways to tech-driven employment while empowering participants to address local challenges through evidence-based solutions.
