OUR PROGRAMS
Education
Our education program empowers refugees in Kakuma through higher education support and English language training, equipping them with skills and opportunities to improve their futures and strengthen their communities.
Livelihoods
Entrepreneurship & Financial Literacy empowers refugee youth and women with essential skills, while Leadership training, Computer Literacy, and Data Analytics prepare them for future opportunities.
Environmental Management
Enhances resilience and promotes sustainable practices to mitigate climate change impacts, specifically targeting vulnerable populations affected by floods, droughts, and environmental degradation.
Advocacy
Empowers refugees to advocate for their rights and ensures their inclusion in decision-making processes, enabling them to participate in solutions that impact their lives.
STRATEGIC GOALS
Our program primarily focuses on supporting refugee and host community youth, aged 18 to 35, who are eager to rebuild their lives and create lasting change.
- Promote Environmental Management and Climate Resilience We engage communities in sustainable practices such as reforestation, water conservation, and waste management to adapt to and mitigate the impacts of climate change
- Expand Access to Tertiary Education for Refugees By partnering with scholarship providers and offering application workshops and mentorship, we aim to increase access to higher education for refugee youth
- Strengthen Partnerships and Ensure Organizational Sustainability We will maintain and expand collaborations with donors, NGOs, Refugee-Led Organizations (RLOs), and community leaders to ensure the sustainability of our work.
- Empower Refugees with Digital and Technological Skills Equip refugees with digital and data analytics skills to enhance their employability in today’s digital world.
- Advocate for the full inclusion of refugees in policy formulation at local, national, and
international levels. Through capacity-building and leadership programs, our goal is to support 100 refugee leaders by 2027, empowering them to represent their communities and influence decisions that impact their lives.
